Neon Nubbins

I finally got around to chopping down my nails so they are super short again.  I decided to take the opportunity of having them short to wear the last of my neon polishes I bought while I was in Spain.  I figured I could just about get away with it on short nails at work.

As with the pink, this neon isn't quite as in your face as the orange from the collection but it's still certianly bright enough and gives a proper pop of summer colour.

It applied really nicely (3 coats in these pictures) and dried to a slightly rubbery matte look which I then covered with a nice shiny topcoat to get the effect you see here.

Again the polish has a sort of squishy, jelly like look to it which I love.

Under indoor, artificial light the neon sort of disappears and leave a bright apple or grass green colour which is also very pretty.

I'm not sure how much wear I'll get out of this polish over winter but it'll definitely be back out with the warmer weather and sunshine next year.
